Innersloth reveals The Airship map in Among Us, launching early 2021

Among Us is getting a new map next year, and here's how it looks like

The Airship in Among UsInnerSloth unveiled the upcoming map for Among Us at The Game Awards 2020 where it also bagged two awards. The new map in Among Us is called The Airship, and it’s the biggest one so far.

The Airship map in Among Us is slated for an “early 2021” release although an official date is yet to be announced. In the new map, players will have new tasks to accomplish, and a much bigger space to move around. The Airship also has ladders and elevators for players to move from one place to another. An interesting addition to The Airship is that players can start off in different rooms after an emergency room. In the present maps, all players continue from the emergency meeting room.

The Airship will join The Skeld, Mira HQ and Polus in Among Us. A new map will be an exciting and fresh change for Among Us players, especially at a time when the game is a rage online. Among Us launched back in 2018 but it only took off this year with the multiplayer game proving to be a huge success among people facing lockdowns globally.

Innersloth had been teasing the map for some time, and it also gave a sneak peek last month. The new map is based on the Toppat Clan Airship from the Henry Stickmin series, the last game created by Innersloth. There were plans of launching Among Us but the developers cancelled it. All focus will now be put to the new map, and fixing bugs in Among Us
